So…every day, I scroll through the newsfeed and sometimes come across some really interesting articles. This past week, I found this news story about a French artist making a statement about technology. With a play on words calling it BondAge, he’s making the point that technology basically owns us. For those interested in reading the story and seeing the art, it was fascinating. Now, of course, I have to take this whole notion a step further and thought about all kinds of play on words. Like perhaps someone could make an iPhone case with a whip attached to it. You know…because of the notion that people whip out their phones whenever they receive a call or want to get someone’s digits. Or how about, an auto message from your phone when you can’t answer… “sorry, I’m tied up right now, I can’t answer your call.” Of course, this might be accompanied by a picture of a phone with ropes wrapped around its case. I’m sure all you clever folk out there can think of more play on words. That got me to research this a bit further. Of course, there are all kinds of phone cases and accessories with BDSM themes. Some particularly beautiful art for those who are interested in encasing your phone and making a bold statement (like 250 different cases to choose from)! Unfortunately, I was unable to find a phone case with an actual whip attached…perhaps a venture business to start? How unique would that be? Since we carry our phones with us all the time, attaching accessories might sell like hotcakes! The business could branch out to phone cases with attached vibrators in various sizes and shapes.
