This week, I didn’t get my topic from my normal perusal of Apple News. Instead, I was watching All’s Fair, a pretty entertaining show about a bunch of high-powered lawyers (all women). The character Allura (Kim Kardashian) was talking about vaginal PRP injections. At first, I thought this was surely made up. I am familiar with PRP injections, which are Platelet-rich-plasma, because my wife gets those injections for her knee, and it has been very successful for her with her bone-on-bone knee issues. Nope…not made up. I did some research…of course I did!

- A common term for this is a vaginal PRP shot or a clitoral PRP shot. It’s also called an O-shot.
- The shot is intended to treat sexual dysfunction in women by stimulating both the clitoris and vagina with PRP.
- Here is the step-by-step procedure: 1) The patient’s blood is drawn. 2) Centrifugation spins the blood to separate the platelets and plasma from the red blood cells. 3)The highly concentrated plasma (up to 10 times more powerful than normal blood) is injected directly into the affected area. The goal is to stimulate the growth of new cells.
- Reasons to consider this injection: increase sexual arousal and lubrication; decrease painful intercourse; Increase frequency and strength of orgasms; obtain an orgasm in women who have never had an orgasm; decrease urinary incontinence; treat sexual disorders such as Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder.
- The exact spots where they inject the PRP: Clitoris – just to the side of the clitoris, where the PRP spreads under the skin to have effects on the entire clitoris, most of which is buried under the skin; Vagina – just within the vagina, along the front side, to stimulate some of the glands that lubricate the vagina, which also spreads to the G spot, (and we know that spot is responsible for vaginal orgasms).
- Since the procedure is done in the office and is a non-surgical procedure, it only takes about 30-40 minutes from start to finish!
- A reputable place will only result in minor pain. The following are possible or probable side effects for 1-3 days: swelling and bruising (may last a couple of weeks) due to the small amount of fluid injected into the vagina or clitoris; mild pain or a temporary “buzzing” or tingling sensation; very light, short-term bleeding from the needle insertion. Patients are advised not to have sex for 48 hours.
- Finally…what will it cost? About 1,000-2000 dollars. But, if you ask me, you couldn’t pay ME enough to have someone stick a needle into any part of my hoo-haw!

So, there you have it! All of these fun things I am learning about plastic surgery and such for our intimate bits are interesting, but I just don’t think they’ll make it into any of my books. I couldn’t even bring myself to weave this into my latest WIP, where one of the side characters makes her money as an OnlyFans Creator. If ever there was an opportunity, it would be with this book, titled Blind Faith. Who knows, maybe I’ll add something! I still have time because I haven’t even finished refining the first draft. There is a pretty outrageous story in Cherry On The Top, titled The Coochie Couch, though, so feel free to check that out along with my other books, because I often weave in concepts from my blogs.
